Hi! I'm Carlee...

I’m an educator, environmentalist, activist, writer, and above all, a fellow human trying to make sense of a universe that tends toward chaos. I’m passionate about social justice and environmentalism. When I’m not out in the field running water quality tests with 3rd graders or in the classroom dissecting oysters with 9th graders, I can most likely be found enjoying nature or spending quality time with my rescue dog, Mia.

I graduated cum laude from Washington College where I was Presidential Fellow and majored in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Chesapeake Regional Studies and minors in creative writing and anthropology (never a dull moment).

What defines me?

I hugs two trees with one arm.

some of my adventures...

Hanging with George at Washington College
Adventuring interlude, BWI Airport
Enjoying some coconut in Hopkins, Belize
Watercoloring afloat near Martin National Wildlife Refuge in MD
Quality time with a calf in Kent County, MD
